In a career that spans 17 years in both Scotland and Australia, I’ve worked within both IT/digital recruitment and digital marketing, initially as a Project Director in digital advertising, where I had the chance to work with some of the world’s biggest and most exciting brands, such as Coca-Cola and Unilever.
I have spent the last 10 years recruiting IT and digital professionals, matching them with clients across a wide range of businesses, from software solutions firms, finance consultancies to public sector departments and small IT start-ups. I have proven experience of recruiting in most sectors across the entire technology spectrum from programme management to helpdesk support. Whoever the client or the candidate, I’ve always aimed to build strong, long-lasting relationships, rooted in honesty, professionalism and a deep understanding of the market. Over time, this has allowed me to develop a well-established network of contacts who trust me as their recruitment partner and advisor.
More specifically, as an Account Director at Be-IT, while I remain hands-on with clients and candidates, I am also responsible for ensuring our processes and quality meets the highest professional standards. The team at Be-IT is growing fast and my remit includes internal training, brand management and adherence to industry best practice. A success-orientated individual with an inclusive leadership style, I consistently encourage our team to deliver desired results for our candidates and clients through effective use of our state of the art internal technology platform.
