Living in the countryside has both advantages (nice rural views, slower pace of live etc.) and disadvantages (far from shops, more expensive petrol and, of course, broadband at walking pace on a good day. Actually, some rural areas have decent broadband, but there is no doubt that it is an issue for those who choose to live in a rural area. And there is concern that the government, despite its target of 95% of homes having superfast broadband by 2017, may not deliver to the most remote parts of the UK. Read more here.
