The government has launched a new scheme, called Degree Apprenticeships, that allows employers to build graduate digital skills. Apprentices will be employed throughout and will study for an honours degree, but with no fees or debt (the really good news is that the fees are co-funded by the government). The scheme is supported by the Tech Partnership, a growing network of over 150 employers who are all collaborating to create the skills needed to help grow the digital economy.
We shall have much more to say about apprenticeships in next week's Be-IT blog, so keep an eye open on Monday!
