Way back in April, we announced that as part of our celebrations to mark our fourth year in business we were going to raise £2,000 for Kidney Kids Scotland. Well, if you've been following our blogs since then, full of such entertainments as Christina's pink hair, Graeme's nae hair, Ami and Alastair's 'shirts of hurt', some amazing baking and a lot of shaved balloons, charades and the odd drink, then you'll know what we've been doing.
We're delighted to say that we have overachieved, by some 35%, and today (Thursday 6th July) we were delighted to be able to present a cheque for £2699.96 to Kidney Kids Scotland. Stuart Alexander is seen here with Joe, his son who suffers from kidney disease, and Karen from Kidney Kids Scotland.
We would like to thank EVERYONE who has contributed to this fundraising. Yes, we had good fun doing it, but that's the secret of success and we were very pleased to be able to make a donation that will help children who suffer from renal problems to live more normal, healthier lives.
