Graduate Software Developer – Edinburgh
What’s to like?
The size of our client’s customer base and the complexity of
their product, from the algorithms to their technology stack and future growth plans.
This is a key role in a hidden gem of a business - an online, games-based, math’s learning service used by thousands of schools and millions of children worldwide. They are revolutionizing education and are world-leaders in engagement, yet with only circa. 30 staff, tucked away in pleasant offices in Edinburgh, they offer a uniquely friendly, flexible yet ferociously talented work environment.
What do I need to succeed?
Above all, you’ll need to be a graduate developer (2;1) who is passionate about software development and problem-solving. In addition, a good honors degree in computing, science or technology is a must, coupled with some development experience gained in any relevant commercial setting and/or some interesting personal projects in your portfolio (not related to your degree).
It would be advantageous if you had graduated from a Russel Group university.
In return, they expect you (and everyone else) to listen, exchange ideas and pull together as a dynamic team. As a Graduate developer, you’ll be expected to learn fast and by example and you must therefore be a creative, effective and articulate communicator.
You should be. Opportunities like this don’t crop up very often. Share options, a great salary and a company that has achieved great things and has much more planned for the future – what’s not to like? To find out more, call me on 0131 344 4790 or email email@example.com
